I’m super excited to be writing this introductory post because I’ve been planning on starting a blog for so long. I just think it’s going to be such a great way to interact with my amazing clients and the rest of the general public too.
Firstly, I’m going to tell you a little about myself, so you know exactly who you’re dealing with. Then I’ll go over some details about what to expect in upcoming blogs. It’s exciting stuff!
Ok, let’s get to it.
My name is Vicky and I’m the Creative Director behind the company Plush Events & Plush Kids. I asked a few friends and clients how they would describe me, and they rattled off the following:

Now, I’m more than happy to take these as compliments because these descriptions embody the characteristics that enable me to be a great event planner!
Working within the events industry has always been something I’ve dreamt of doing. I just find so much joy and fulfilment in seeing my events come to life, and witnessing my clients having an amazing time.
Outside of work I have 3 beautiful children who never cease to amaze me. They’re so creative and I find that their opinions are highly valuable when it comes to planning kids’ parties and even other events!).
At the moment I’ve been putting time into learning new skills to put toward my ever-growing repertoire, and I love being involved in charity work where I can.
I’m really excited to watch this blog grow and I’m thinking of writing on a whole range of topics surrounding the event industry (and a little outside of the industry if I feel like branching out).
I’m going to cover things like ‘How To Choose The Perfect Wedding Venue’, ‘Top 5 Best Kid’s Party Bag Inclusions’, ‘A Day In The Life Of An Event Planner’ and so much more! It’s going to be a lot of fun.
